Maintenance Issue Reports

In the back right corner of Monte Rosa park (city park located between Bordeaux and Tuscany) there is a gate that allows access to and from the Montepulciano vineyard. The gate has a card key reader, but the gate opens without using an access key. Just yank on it an it opens. I recall months ago there was a cable lock on that gate preventing it from opening, but the cable lock is not there anymore. I see that Bordeaux residents are using that gate but I think it should have a lock to prevent non-residents from using it to enter the vineyards (and therefore enter Bordeaux without any restrictions). -

In library room, two bulbs out, just over chess tables..
Requested front desk to contact maintenance 3 times
within last week….someone referred me to this sight…

I’d like to report a damaged fence needing repair.
It’s at Bordeaux Park.
South east corner hillside. The fence is a wooden two rail fence from the park floor up the hillside (in/near the olive grove) to the back yards of the adjacent residences.
Tow rails are out of place needing repair.

**** Response from HOA - This has been reported to the City to address as they confirmed it's their responsibility. Fence posts need to be reset in concrete. *******

I would like to report of a large road crack that has been developing for quite a while at the upper part (near the end) of Gamay Lane in the Bordeaux village.

I understand that you are working to repair the Latour gates. Just an FYI that the Latour entrance gate remains open. See photo below. Thank you for your continued attention to the operation of Bordeaux gates.

I see they’re finishing up the spraying today off the vineyards. I hope they can smooth out the trails they tore up with their tractor during the rain. Beer and little Syrah hills

I saw on the Vineyard report that others were having mice issues as well, this year I have been having field mice coming into my home really often. I did have the Contra Costa Vector control come and do an inspection and there really isn't anything wrong with my home but he said that field mice tend to create a home inside your home instead of coming in and out like rats do 😛 My cat is doing a pretty good job of finding and killing them as they seem to be wise about not going into the traps but it definitely is an annoyance. I just thought that I would report that I also have been dealing with this issue and have not had the problem since I moved here until this winter.

I ride my bicycle out the Sonoma gate 2 - 3 times per week. Up until about 2 weeks ago the gate would open automatically as I rode directly in front of the gate. Now it will not open at all. I would assume some type of sensor is either faulty or defective.

I received a report from a neighbor that for the past couple of days, the St. Julien exit gate has not been working correctly. Appreciate your help!

I noticed the Trilogy pick up truck has a brake light out on the left side.

I noticed recently that the bushes were trimmed on the Miwok Park Trail near Chianti Ln. and thank you for that. There are common area bushes that adjoin our bushes on Chianti Ln. and we try to keep our property trimmed, but it seems that this common area is always overlooked and I have to ask for them to be trimmed. So, I am asking for the 5 bushes that adjoin ours be trimmed to the same height of what is on our property. Thank you!

I live next to the Bordeaux Latour gate (1691 Gamay Lane) so the community wall is on 2 sides of my property. The side wall that is next call box and gate has 2 loose caps. By caps, I mean the white top has separated from the beige bricks. One of them is totally loose. My gardener showed me how he could totally raise it up off the brick below. Is suspect this may have happened when the trees were taken down during the re-landscaping of the area around the gate. That top is the 3rd one from center raised top. If you are looking from the new landscaping there are 3 new Italian cypress in the middle. Look 3 tops towards the gate. The other bad one is on the same wall but almost to the corner of Latour and Vineyards. There is a huge gap between the 2nd & 3rd top and it looks like the wall may be tilting? Maybe one of the old trees had a large root??
