WATER COLLECTING DRAINS

I have noticed another issue that needs attention soon and that is the cute rain collecting buckets attached to the gutters at the Wine Barn have come apart and many of the buckets I have found throughout the Wine Barn property. I have myself gathered them up and put them on the ground under each corner area where they are associated with but if we don't repair them soon they will be lost and then we would have to replace them entirely at additional cost.

No Trespassing sign at St Julien gate entrance has been hit and knocked over

There is a street light flickering on Chianti between Corsica and Barbaresco. It is on the West side of the street closest to Barbaresco

The man gate at the Solera Street entrance is not self-closing.

Crosswalks are in bad shape in Sonoma village. Not sure of other areas. I did look up to see if anybody else complained about it. I could not find it.Big chunks are chipping off. Looks bad in this amazing community.

The HOA side of the wood fence on the vineyard trail-head adjacent to 1701 Zinfandel needs to be re-stained. The old stain is peeling and bare wood is exposed. Diving on Miwok, I noticed another HOA wood fence on the eastern hillside also appears to be in need of new stain. Perhaps there should be a schedule for HOA fence maintenance if one doesn't already exist.

As Neighborhood Watch captain, I received the follow emails from Claudia Curran regarding pedestrian gates:

First message:
“ I know you are one of the reps for our neighborhood watch in Firenze. I am passing along an ongoing observation of the Bordeaux pedestrian gates. I walk very early every morning between 5:30 am - 7 am depending on the time of the year. 99% of the time in the last few months I am finding the Bordeaux gates unsecured, especially the Latour gate. Someone is leaving them open. Maybe you can send a copy of my email to their rep for that area. Here are photos from this morning of the two gates. The first is the Latour Avenue gate, the second two are the other gate at St Julien Street which was left wide open.

Second message:

“Good morning Dan,

I checked out the gates further this morning. The Latour gate doesn't shut on its own; you have to push it shut. The St. Julien gate is even worse, the hydraulics on the gate don't work at all so when someone opens it, it stays wide open. Surprisingly, our Sonoma gate doesn't shut automatically now...that's new. You have to push it to close. So, it looks like these gates are getting old and not working as they should.

Maybe an email to all to be sure to manually shut these gates for our safety, especially during the holiday season. Thanks for looking into this for our community.

The Solera Pedestrian Gate is not working correctly.

The Key FOB Receiver light turns from red to green, but the mechanical lock does not click open.

So the work-around for some residents has been to prop the gate open when they leave.

This practice defeats the purpose of even having gates, so could you please have maintenance look at it?

Robert: The vendor for the gates will be here Weds and Thursday.

The hedges on the west side going up Trilogy Parkway behind Sacred Mountain Lane need to be topped by at least 2-3 feet in order to ensure that they stay healthy and not woody. This is something that should be on the landscapers annual list of maintenance tasks in early spring.

The concrete fence next to our house fell.
I have sent previous messages concerning this issue but could not attach a photo, so now here is the photo of the problem.

Robert: I have forwarded this request to HOA office.I spoke with the HOA office and was told to repair the fence via Facilities Dept. The concrete rail needs to be cut and refitted. The concrete post has started to lean. I have created a work order.

Water leak in the vineyard at the end of Frescati

Oak trees along Vineyards Pkwy - starting at St. Julien entrance and ending at NE entrance to Monte Rosa park - were recently trimmed by the city, I assume. However, no one picked up the tree debris. They are laying all over the plants. I moved some of them onto a utility cover (see attached picture) but there's lots more all over the plants along the sidewalk.

Upper Miwok park irrigation for lawn is not working the lawn is dead in many areas. See photo. This is an on going problem that never seems to be addressed. I have seen other park areas in Trilogy that are looking great such as the Bocce park area (it looked poor for awhile) now looks good. Why is there no effort to work on upper Miwok ? Thank you
