Maintenance Issue Reports

The cement v ditch on the other side of my back fence is in bad shape from the recent rains. heavy rain water has gouged it out between the ditch and the service road. I am concerned about further rains collapsing the cement v ditch. an emergencie stop gap would just take a couple of sand bags to divert the water (like was done to my neighbors ditch) immediately after my fence ends.

The Christmas lights on the Solera entry gate into Tuscany are out of order.

The city park between Bourdeaux and Toscany is now open. However, the gate allowing access to the Bourdeaux pathway is locked creating a safety issue and blocking walkers from using the pathway. If this is an HOA issue, please have the lock removed as soon as possible.

- Response from VAMC - Thank you for your report. Shea Homes and the City are working on getting this gate lock working properly so that VAMC residents can access the park from the trail. JW

The concrete fence next to our house fell.
I have sent previous messages concerning this issue but could not attach a photo, so now here is the photo of the problem.

Robert: I have forwarded this request to HOA office.I spoke with the HOA office and was told to repair the fence via Facilities Dept. The concrete rail needs to be cut and refitted. The concrete post has started to lean. I have created a work order.

The cord for the weight selector on the chest press has come unattached.

The culvert or V-ditch adjacent to the walking trail behind Porto Village on the vineyard side is full of leaves and debris

The dial on the shower head is broken in the first shower stall. It is stuck on pulse which is not great for general showering. Thanks.

The door knob on the door of the Olive Club storage area on the outside of the wine barn has fallen off and both sides are loose. The secondary lock has also become very tight and hard to lock due to warping. Both issues are in need of repair for security of our items and ability to access.

The dumpster by the sales office is overflowing and has been in that state for some time. I can send a picture if it helps. Someone has also piled up multiple garbage bags in front of the dumpster (about 8-10 bags) which I suspect has prevented the routine pickup of the dumpster by the garbage truck. I walk my dog by that area about once a week and I'd guess this pile of trash has been there for several weeks. Now the critters have gotten into the bags laying on the ground and made a mess. Can someone PLEASE properly dispose of the garbage bags on the ground and get the dumpster picked up?

The entrance and golf cart gate near the Bocci ball court has not worked for a couple of weeks. Both my wifes and my badge work at the Sonoma and Miwok gates but not on the gates at the end of California trail. Please fix.

The entry gate at Latour is squeaky terribly!!! I didn’t know but my husband called the front desk a week or so ago asking for it to be fixed. I wrote in on this site early last week about it. I need someone to tell me when it is going to be fixed. I need it fixed asap!!! My husband had a heart attack. I am bringing him home from the hospital today. The gate is so loud he will get no rest. I actually counted the gate closings in the last 5 minutes as 8 times. It is more often earlier in the morning. It is driving me crazy. Drive through yourself; wait with your windows open as the gate closes; trust me you will wince and cringe! We can’t sit outside; it is too painful. PLEASE HELP!

The Event Center needs to be cleaned. The floors are slippery and dirty. The window sills are also dirty
