Conceptualized by celebrated golf course designer Tripp Davis and PGA Tour star Tom Lehman, the Golf Club at Ocala Preserve is where golf changes forever. Not only does the course include all the challenges of a traditionally-styled golf course, but its revolutionary routing provides maximum flexibility in terms of playability, challenge, and time commitment. Not least of all, the course’s footprint – on 50 acres as opposed to the 100+ required by conventional, full-size courses – reduces its environmental impact. The result is a course that can be played in multiple ways, each offering a new experience.

“The small footprint of 50 acres created a unique challenge for us. The whole idea with Ocala Preserve was how can we create something where you can help people really develop their game without sacrificing traditional golf. Here players can challenge themselves, have fun, make up their own games and by the way, they can earn a USGA handicap playing the six hole loop. I think that’s important”
– Tom Lehman

We like to say that there are 24-hole new ways to play. That’s because within the 50 acres of rolling fairways you may play anything from a 6-hole loop to a more traditional 18-hole golf experience.
But wait, there’s more…
The 18-hole (par 3) Skills Course is available Tuesday-Friday while the par 72 Players Course is available Saturday-Sunday.
Yes, to reserve your tee time, please call our team at 352.402.3176. Tee times may be made 10 days in advance on the Players Course and the Skills Course. The Gallery Loop is first come, first serve basis except for days when the Skills Course is accepting tee times.
Absolutely. The courses were designed by accomplished architect and player Tripp Davis along with PGA Tour legend and designer Tom Lehman. Don’t let the 50-acre size fool you – there is real shot value and real design integrity on display throughout the routing. We’re also extremely accessible for the beginner golfer. If you’re looking to enjoy a relaxed round, or try out a few holes, you’ve found the perfect club!
Yes. We now have 10 golf carts in our fleet, with use based on availability and limited to cart path only. However, our golf course was designed in a park-like setting where use of a golf cart isn’t necessary. Distances from green to tee is minimized, and the gently rolling terrain make carrying, pulling, or using a push cart very enjoyable.
