Chef Josh Goetz is a Certified Executive Chef from the American Culinary Federation and brings 20 years of experience in New York and Hong Kong’s restaurant and resort club industry. Josh is a Certified Nutritionist from Cornell University, is certified in Thai cuisine from Sompet in Thailand, and holds an Associate Culinary Arts Degree from the New England Culinary Institute, where he was a James Beard Society Scholarship recipient.
Chef Goetz comes to us most recently from Hawaii, where he was the Executive Chef of 53 By the Sea. Before that he was the Executive Chef for over a decade at the American Club Hong Kong serving over 3,000 members and managing twelve F&B outlets and seven catering venues. He has received a variety of press notoriety and numerous awards.
Chef Goetz is excited to infuse some of his favorite entrées into the BlueStar Signature Menu and work alongside Sous Chef Seer Allen and the Encanterra team. Chef Seer has done an incredible job and we are excited to have him collaborate with Chef Goetz on the new restaurant and the menus at Explorations, Tapas, and Solaz.
