Chef Matt Wenrich relocated to Charlotte to attend Johnson and Wales University, where he received dual degrees in Culinary Arts and Food & Beverage Management. His creative curiosity has taken him down an eclectic path though some of the best restaurants in Charlotte, but always with a steadfast focus on plate execution and creating delightful, timely meals. It was at Noble Food and Pursuits, and Rooster’s Wood-fired Kitchen, where Matt learned the art of wood-fired cooking. Matt also worked under Chef Bruce Moffett at Stagioni’s, was the Executive Chef at an innovative brew pub and grill, and even led a food truck operation.
